Japanese nail art

As a former manicurist, I love getting & giving mani+pedi
Before I went to school for fashion, I was manicurist for almost 7 years :) (I've been working in the city, magazine featured famous salon also worked for backstage at NY fashion week..I loved my job!)
So.. when I get bored or nothing to do, I change my nail color.
My favorite was french or sheer pink color on my nail until i saw one of my Japanese girl friend's nail.
She got a gel manicure with jewel on her nails and it was really pretty.
I'm not a big fan of artificial nails (coz artificial nail really damage your natural nails..and sometime they look really cheap!)
BUT I love love love Japanese nail art! They are pretty and splendor(am i using right word?) you don't need any other accessories on your hand.
